Match the portfolio to your shoot
A wedding, proposal, family session and villa campaign require different timing and direction. Look for several complete examples close to your brief, location and light—not only a collection of best images.
Want to compare real options? On Traceby you can browse photographers in Bali, review services, portfolios, locations, availability and verification badges before starting a conversation.
Define the deliverables
Confirm shooting time, approximate number of edited photographs, delivery format, turnaround and retouching. Ask whether raw files are supplied only if they are genuinely important to your project.
Plan the location
Sunrise and sunset slots disappear quickly. Some beaches, temples and private venues require access permission or fees. A local photographer should flag these details and suggest a realistic travel schedule.
Put the agreement in writing
Record the date, meeting point, package, total cost, cancellation terms and delivery deadline in the booking chat. For once-in-a-lifetime events, ask about backup equipment and weather plans.
