Make Sidemen the main destination
Plan one local walk, one meal and time to sit with the view. Starting from south Bali and adding Kintamani, several waterfalls and a sunset beach on the same day creates a very different trip. Ask your driver for a realistic door-to-door plan and choose the activity you would most regret rushing.

Walk with permission and a clear route
Ask your accommodation or a local guide for an appropriate walking route before entering rice-field paths. These are working landscapes, not an unrestricted photo set. Keep off planted areas, ask before photographing people and wear shoes that can handle mud. Confirm the guide's fee and duration if you arrange a walk.

Reserve lunch for the setting
Wapa di Ume Sidemen advertises a hillside restaurant setting; Koli-Koli describes a pool-club setting with Agung views. They are different kinds of stop, so check non-guest access, reservations and current minimum spends directly. Do not arrive expecting hotel pool access to be included with lunch.

Leave space for cloud and rain
If Agung is hidden, keep the walk and lunch as the point of the day rather than chasing the mountain across the island. Agree on a shorter wet-weather option and the return pickup before setting off. A two-night stay is worth considering if you want slow mornings rather than a same-day return drive.
